My first ever sock! I actually finished it around eleven o'clock last night, but my camera was in the kitchen and I was too lazy to go get it. Anyway, I am so proud of me right now. I was always really afraid of knitting socks because of the heels, but I sat down with a pattern (that made it even scarier in some aspects, because patterns never seem to work for me), but this turned out pretty well. I only had to rip back the heel once. I tried following the pattern for that, but it didn't really work, so I re-wrote it and also changed the leg because plain stockinette is boring, and I wanted to make them longer than the pattern called for.
