List of Countries

The following is the abbreviated list of countries. They are listed alphabetically, so once all the countries starting with a particular letter filled up, I've removed it, just to make things a little cleaner and neater.

If you would like the more detailed list, and perhaps reasons why some nations are on this list while others are not, along with images of the flags, go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Countries

If the country you would like to do has a name next to it then it has been claimed already. Please review the list again and find another that does not have a name.

To sign up, please scroll down to the bottom of this post, where you will find a Comment/Leave Comment button. Click on "Leave Comment," then leave your name and the country you would like to create a flag for.

The following are the only flags left unclaimed:

Ascension Island

Brunei

Greece

Northern Mariana Islands

  61. This is a wonderful idea and I hope you get TOP TOP marks for your project. I would like to do St Kitts and Nevis. I lived there for a few months when I was young, and still hanker after it.

Second point, I think Doctors without Borders would also be better, since some countries only use the Red Crescent organisation and others the Mogan David. The Red Cross, as far as I understand it, is only universal in Christian countries. I think Doctors Without Borders is truly universal.

  129. This is an interesting and worthwhile project. Is there a deadline? As for the "straight pride" question, although many would disagree, I've always felt that the rainbow stood for diversity, which includes people who practice alternative ways of loving, as well as those who are "straight but not narrow." That really fits with the concept of the rainbow including the full gamut of colours.
